My name is Arvid and I’m a passionate Swedish skier who found home in Tromsø. I know very well what it’s like to ski with bad fitting boots and slipping and sliding around in them instead of being in control of your skis. I also know a thing or two of what it’s like to be in pain for a full day of skiing – it really takes the joy out of it.

Skiing should be fun and enjoyable through and through – and that requires good boots! It was obvious that Tromsø lacked this service, something so important for all skiers, from beginners to pros. I’ve trained at Sole Bootlab in Chamonix and at Alpingaraget in Stockholm, and I’m so excited to bring this much needed service to Tromsø.

Please stop by the shop to book an appointment or drop in. I start by a consultation and look at your feet and discuss you skiing level and style and can from there help you order the boots that will fit you. When they are delivered to the shop we try different sizes and I then help you mold and shape your boots to fit you perfectly. It’s also possible to come to the shop with old boots, and from there we do a consultation and then I help you fit them as well as possible to your needs.
